 The Solution - An Excellent Investment for the MPL To meet the rising demand, the MPL has installed 307 public access computers in all 13 branches, and hundreds more for use in classrooms and by administrative staff. Of the over 850 computers in use, nearly 100% are connected to AG Neovo displays. The MPL has used AG Neovo since 2002, upgrading their outdated CRT monitors to 17" E-Series displays. The Central Library, as listed in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, is one of the ten best places for "local flavour" that reflects neighborhood character, and most importantly, offers free Wi-Fi. However, patrons still visit for educational purposes, and many praise the widespread availability of free computer lessons. For city resident Thomas Gaudynskij the MPL is invaluable. "The library is the main resource people can turn to and better their lot. I know this is true because I am one of those who relied on the library to do so." Mayor Barrett also agrees.
